Due to the coronavirus measures, many stores were forced to close their doors. However, the number of purchases during this time has not decreased at all. Online stores have allowed consumers to make their purchases right from their armchairs. Companies that did not have online stores had to quickly adapt their way of doing business. However, operating an online store also brings with it numerous legal obligations.

Lemur Legal is a legal consulting firm operating at the core of the Slovenian startup ecosystem. The firm specializes in providing legal services to startups, online store owners, and intellectual property protection.

By attending the event you will learn about:

what legal documentation you need to have on your website,
what the general terms and conditions, privacy policy and cookie policy should include,
what rights the consumer has (e.g. "cooling off period"),
what personal consumer data you may collect and the conditions for further processing,
presentation of examples we have encountered in practice,
