Austria-Slovenia Business Forum: Connected for the Future

Subject: Business forum, aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two countries and finding opportunities for joint projects in the future. The program will combine substantive panels on key development topics – from hydrogen technologies to artificial intelligence in medicine – and direct B2B meetings for companies from all sectors. The event will also be accompanied by a cultural highlight, the musical Child of Peace, which symbolically connects art, youth and the idea of peace. The joint Slovenian day in Vienna will show how business, culture and diplomacy can together create a space for cooperation, innovation and sustainable development.

Entrepreneurship training: Successful leadership and management of challenges within the company and externally

Subject: Free training is intended for small companies and sole proprietors, individuals and companies, and anyone interested in the importance of effective communication in running a business, building a positive organizational culture, and maintaining good relationships with business partners and employees. Participants will gain practical knowledge that will help them identify and manage communication challenges, build trust, and strengthen collaboration within the team and externally.

BusinessMatching business event – AREA SÜD

Subject: The event connects companies from Austria and Slovenia in the context of the upcoming opening of a new railway line through Golica, which will directly connect Klagenfurt and Graz from December 2025. The event provides an opportunity for networking and targeted business discussions between entrepreneurs from ten Austrian districts and for participation in so-called World Cafés, where participants will co-create ideas for cross-border cooperation in the AREA SÜD region - a new economic region with 1.8 million inhabitants and 150,000 companies.

Economic delegation to Qatar (Doha)

Subject: The delegation represents an important opportunity for Slovenian companies wishing to enter the Qatari market or strengthen existing business ties. Participants will be able to participate in the Slovenia-Qatar Business Forum, network with Qatari companies and institutions, and present their solutions in the areas of sustainable infrastructure, digitalization, energy, healthcare, smart cities, and innovation. Public call for support for young entrepreneurs (JPMŽ 2025-2029)

Subject: The Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for the Promotion of Investment, Entrepreneurship and Internationalization - SPIRIT Slovenia is offering grants for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, each beneficiary can receive up to €9,000.

Application deadline: applications open from October 1, 2025 or until funds are used up, the deadline for submitting an application to this public call is November 30, 2028
