Partnership Agreement and Operational Programme for the Implementation of European Cohesion Policy 2021-2027
The European Cohesion Policy is the main investment policy of the European Union. With its help, we are implementing numerous projects that have significantly contributed to faster development. Its implementation is based on key programming documents - primarily the Partnership Agreement between Slovenia and the European Commission for the period 2021-2027.
In the 2021-2027 programming period, a total of EUR 3.2 billion is available for cohesion policy measures across all funds, with funding allocated to five priority areas. In the 2021-2027 period, cohesion policy is financed by four funds:
- European Regional Development Fund: EUR 1,545,686,286.
- European Social Fund: EUR 611,504,805.
- Cohesion Fund: EUR 700,675,721.
- Just Transition Fund (JTF): EUR 248,773,600.

Slovenia's Development Strategy 2030
The Slovenia Development Strategy 2030 represents a new overarching development framework, determined by the Vision of Slovenia, an overview of the current situation, as well as global trends and challenges.
The state's strategic guidelines for achieving a quality of life are:
- An inclusive, healthy, safe and responsible society.
- Learning for and throughout life.
- A highly productive economy that creates added value for all.
- A preserved healthy natural environment.
- High level of cooperation, competence and management efficiency.
The Koroška region encompasses 12 municipalities, connected by three valleys - Mežiška, Mislinjska and Drava.
Regional Development Program for the Koroško Development Region 2021–2027
The Regional Development Programme is a fundamental strategic and programming document at the regional level, which is prepared for a seven-year programming period. It harmonises development objectives in the region and determines instruments and assesses resources for their implementation. The Regional Development Programme defines the development advantages of the region, sets the development priorities of the region and contains financially evaluated programmes to promote development in the region.

Agreement for the development of the region 2021-2027
The Regional Development Agreement - DRR is an instrument of regional policy under the Act on the Promotion of Harmonious Regional Development and is a bilateral implementing act with which we implement the Regional Development Program - RDP by determining key regional and sectoral projects to overcome development obstacles in the region and sources of financing.
Koroška The region has EUR 21,394,737.33 available for the following specific objectives in the period 2021–2027 :
